Workplace Practice

The Institute for Business Education (iWIP) demonstrates a diverse approach to workplace practice, closely aligned with the demands of the modern world of work and educational institutions.

One example is the Regional Future Center MV+ project, which provides consulting services to companies, offers continuing education opportunities, and serves as a platform for exchange between business, education, and research all aimed at developing innovative concepts for vocational education and training in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The Campus BWP project develops a teacher education strategy for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, connecting students with key stakeholders in teacher education. It creates internship opportunities and promotes multi-perspective learning scenarios.

The Business Education module prepares students to design and reflect on learning processes in corporate settings, enabling them to meet future workplace demands. In the Vocational Education Research module, students conduct their own projects to explore current scientific findings. Another key module, “Innovations in Vocational Education,”examines forward-looking approaches for the continuous improvement of vocational education and its adaptation to changing requirements.

Workplace practice enables students to apply theoretical knowledge in real work environments and to actively shape the further development of vocational education. The close connection between research, teaching, and practice leads to innovative solutions and future-oriented advancements in vocational education and training.
